description In a globalized and changing world, it becomes increasingly more important to transfer elements of Turkish folk literature and traditional Turkish arts to foreigners, especially the international students that are in Turkey to study or learn Turkish. It becomes easier to transfer literary and artistic values while teaching language. This study aims to determine how international students are influenced by, learn and transfer Turkish folk art (audio-dramatic-visual) during their stay in Konya. The participants of the study were 286 international students between the ages 17 and 49, coming from 66 different countries. All were studying in various programs at universities in the city of Konya. Structured interview and observations were used to collect data about the values related to audio, visual and dramatic Turkish folk arts such as Turkish folk literature, folk music and instruments, traditional folk dance, ebru, calligraphy and wood carving. The data, then, were categorized and tabulated andanalyzed using content analysis technique. Findings were interpreted to make recommendations in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language
