Summary: | Correction of bimaxillary deformities remains a great challenge for oral and maxillofacial surgeons. With the development of orthognathic surgery and orthodontic technique, especially the application of digital surgery, more and more advanced methods were used in the diagnosis and treatment for patients. Average of over 100 patients with bimaxillary deformities were referred to our department annually. Almost all the patients received satisfactory outcomes. In this review, we summarized and discussed some factors involved in the correction of bimaxillary deformities. |
