| Summary: | The relevance of the study is caused by the necessity to define the place and the role of successive processes under social status transformation, changes of priority and value system. The aim of the study is to express "succession" concept and to find out the specialties of "social succession". Methods of researching: logical historical and system-pragmatic. Results: The author proposes his vision of this term based on the analysis of current points of view defining the idea of "succession" concept. The functions of "succession" as philosophic category are cleared up. The depth of succession logic is emphasized. Based on the researches of foreign and national sophists' opinions the author developed a way to define succession process within forming new one, its links with the previous one. The author's way is identified and the notion of "social succession" category is proposed. The comparative analysis of social succession and tradition is carried out; the informative and functional succession superiority over tradition is underlined. |
