description The following article will be focused on highlight the appropriateness of Sandra Contreras’ proposition (2018) about the return of realism desire in experimental aesthetics like Cesar Aira’s oeuvre and should spread to contemporary authors like Hernán Vanoli, due to his practice of a type of dystopian fiction proportional to an action compulsion and a paranoid imaginary of expressionist dimensions. We´ll point out the effects and limitations of this interpretation –in accordance with prominent sci-fi critics– in order to understand a kind of postgeneric textuality, that’s not reluctant to the cognoscitive function of classic realisms, by means of the invention of a particular form which textualizes the political unconscious of globalized capitalism.
