Summary:The main objective of this research is to identify factors of leadership styles and their affecting levels to job performance of staff at specialized agencies in Soc Trang province. It is hoped that the findings are helpful for leaders to make appropriate adjustments to enhance staff’s performance. The research was conducted in two steps: qualitative method (group discussion) and quantitative method (surveying 229 staff members at specialized agencies in Soc Trang province). The analysis of Cronbach Alpha, EFA and regression were used. The result hasidentified sixfactors whose affecting levels to job performancewere decreasing as follows:(1) Management by Exception -Active,(2) Idealized influence of leaders, (3) Intellectual stimulation,(4) Inspirational motivation.(5) Consideration, and (6) Contingent Reward.
