| Summary: | In today’s society blog-writing represents an activity through which people make public their observations, reflections, reactions and dilemmas to the general public or to a smaller category if the information is confidential. The blogs represent a fast and effective way of using IT and the internet, and have a positive effect in PR, journalism, marketing, information management and virtual communities. We would like to emphasize that they are being used extensively especially in public relations, companies using them in order to interact directly with their public, be it internal or external and in order to create the image or reputation of their spokes-person. In our country, “the blogosphere” (the sum of all blogs and their connection paths) is made up of web-logs on various themes written by Romanians from various locations in the world and has become, just like in other countries, a “supplement” to the traditional mass-media. |
