| Summary: | Problem setting – analyzing the content of the basic ideas underlying the regulation of relations, the subjects of which are minors. The principles of children's rights is that they are the legal basis for the design of children's rights and define the main activities of public authorities to safeguard the rights of the child. Paper main body. This article is devoted to particular aspects of the legal status of the child. The article analyzes the international legal principles of the legal status of the child such as: protected against all forms of discrimination, the best interests of the child, every child has the inherent right to life, States shall assure to the child who is capable of forming his or her own views the right to express those views freely. Conclusions of the research – The article analyzes the international legal principles of the legal status of the child. It is concluded that the principles of the legal status of the child – is embodied in the domestic constitutional law and international treaties of Ukraine basic ideas that are the basis of the legal regulation of social relations involving children and direction of the state to ensure their rights.
