Description
Summary:This article deals with selected amendments to the Consumer Credit Act, in particular the definition of a loan institution and the maximum non-interest costs of credit. These changes are important for entrepreneurs providing consumer credit as well as for consumers themselves. The method of calculating the maximum non-interest costs of credit relates to the provision of cash to the consumer rather than the transfer of funds, which can lead to a number of doubts in the practice of concluding contracts. This article discusses the provisions of the Act in an attempt to determine how changes in regulations will help protect consumers.
