Summary:<p class="Resumen">The Educational Direction in the province, in coordination with the Universidad de Oriente through their Project "Systematizing of Processes of Evaluation and Educational Improvement in Santiago de Cuba", decided to make a deep study that took out to the light those main ones problematic that affected the quality of the Mathematics's learning in the educational system. Starting from the employment of methods of quantitative-qualitative investigation an important heap of information about the acting of the students, the educational ones, the school leaders and the effectiveness of the operation of the school institutions in which could identify the difficulties that nearbyer impact negatively in the development of the mathematical abilities in the students. Also, it contributed with a system of actions to improve the state of the teaching-learning of the Mathematics in the province.</p>
