description Given a brief reconstruction of the employers’ right to give birth to their own associations and considered that the value added by employers’ associations is the ability to “collectively organize” a multitude of employment relationships as a function of the national general production needs, the essay is focused on the analysis of the management, under a collective perspective, of the professional figures as modern “break point” between employers represented and their representative association, reporting some specific cases of unit bargaining uniquely aimed at giving birth to specially-made professionals. In the light of such analysis, the essay is, finally, focused on the ability of employers’ association to respond to such “need of new professionalism” and, therefore, on the consideration if that ability may recompose a more and more fragmented employers’ representativeness.
