Summary:To identify risk factors for gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and thrombotic complications, as well as postoperative bleeding, by individually choosing analgesic anti-inflammatory therapy, including that with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, is the most important task in the preoperative preparation of patients with rheumatic inflammatory joint diseases.The paper reviews studies evaluating the efficiency and safety of long-term aceclofenac use in patients who are to undergo joint surgery.
