Description
Summary:This paper describes the technical-economic analysis of a hybrid renewable energy systems (HRES) connected to the grid, consisting of photovoltaic (PV) source and municipal solid waste (MSW), taking into account economic and technical criteria. Photovoltaic energy and the new technology used for MSW processing have a lower cost and lower environmental impact. The sensitivity analysis shows that improving the rate of return on investment in HRES can be a measure to encourage the use of renewable energies for electricity production, both in terms of costs and environmental impact.
