ABSTRACT
The historical account, the general morphology and the taxonomy of the 2 suborders, 3 superfamilies, 7 families, 10 subfamilies, 14 genera and 18 species of the Tanaidacea registered for Cuba, until today, are presented. Each species mentioned in the identification keys carries the respective figure. It is considered that the group is the least studied among the peracarid crustaceans, in the country's marine waters. |
