description Since the last decades of the twentieth century, appropriation has been one of the main approaches of contemporary artistic research and a well-established practice. The materials of these practices are objects, as well as images and artworks. This essay focuses on some researches that, as case studies, show specific features related to these practices and not to the traditional approach of quotation.
