Summary: | This paper ́s goal is to propose a reflection about the coexistence of linguistic diversities in the space of the classroom, its reflections in the texts produced by the students and the feedback presented by official documents. We start from the idea that linguistic diversities must be understood as identity characteristics of the students, which, in the school environment, coexist with different cultural and linguistic expressions, including the normatives. We still intend to discuss about the importance of working with linguistic diversity in Portuguese Language classes, in order to rescue and preserve identities and, still, to understand the movement of the language, whose dynamics is guided by conditioners of social, cultural, historical, economical and political order. The analysis are based on writing problems registered in texts written by students of the 8th grade of Elementary School, produced from work with opinative genre.
