| description | The city police is a law and order unit that ensures public order in a given city. The documents
contain an elaboration of issues in the field of security specifically informs about the basic rights
and obligations of the city police. The main goal then consists of an analysis of the opinions of the
city of Košice on the activities of the city police. The practical part of the publication was
compiled by using the scientific method of the survey in which the basic attitudes of the inhabitants
towards the feeling of safety in their hometown but above all evaluate the performance of the city
police. At the end of the published contribution the individual opinions and attitudes of the
inhabitants on the given problem are summarized and analyzed, basic solutions, measures
resulting from the opinions of the respondents asked on the security situations which can
contribute to increase security, the sense of security of the residents and the subsequent
minimization of risks.
