composition and doses of their constituent components. The aminozole tritarg, containing arginine, taurine, tryptophan
and zinc aspartate, has a complex effect on metabolic processes, due to the combined effects of its compounds.
The aim of the work was to perform a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the free amino acid pool in the liver
tissue of rats after administration of the aminozole tritarg.
Material and methods. The experiment was carried out on white female rats weighing 120-140 g. Tritarg was
administered intragastrically daily at a dose of 350 mg/kg of body mass.The animals were decapitated 24 hours after
3, 7 or 10-fold administration of tritarg. Liver tissue was used for the analysis. Free amino acids were determined by
reversed-phase HPLC.
Results. One day after a 7-fold administration of tritarg (the period of its maximum effect), the total amount of
proteinogenic and interchangeable amino acids, the amount of glutamate + glutamine (decreased ratio of glutamate/
glutamine) in the liver tissue increased. The content of nitrogen-containing amino acid metabolites decreased: that of
α-aminoadipic acid – by 34%, β-alanine – by 31%, citrulline – by 27%, 3-methylhistidine – by 30% and α-aminobutyric
acid – by 30%.
Сonclusions. Thus, the recorded common direction of metabolic fluxes after a 3 and 7-fold administration of
aminozole is mostly of anabolic nature, while a 10-fold administration of the aminozole probably leads to the saturation
of transport fluxes and formation of amino acid imbalance stimulating catabolism (oxidation) of the excess of nitrogen-
containing metabolites. |
