The author describes anti-inflammatory therapy for knee OA in an exacerbation phase, by using amelotex, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with selective inhibition of COX-2, and positive therapeutic results as reduced joint pain and swelling, increased volume of movements, and its good tolerability. |
