description In this study, some physical and mechanical properties of concrete mixtures containing high volume Class C fly ash have been investigated. Compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, modulus of elasticity and sulfuric acid resistance of concrete mixes, the volume stability of mortar bar specimens and setting times of pastes were investigated. Test results are presented comparatively with control specimens which have only Portland cement as a binder.
