Description
Summary:The article consists of a bibliographic review and theoretical-methodological articulation to bring socionomy closer to environmental psychology, a relevant research field for the 21st century, given the contemporary human-environmental crisis. The source selection method and the inclusion and exclusion criteria of literature and articles made it possible to identify common origins for socionomy and environmental psychology, based on a discussion of epistemological foundations that make the proposed approach possible. Although historical and epistemological similarities are evident, only one research report intentionally associating socionomy with environmental psychology was found across the sources consulted. As a heuristic contribution, the authors suggest the use of sociopsychodramatic methods in future studies on environmental psychology.
