Description
Summary:The Spatial Planning Act and other real estate and building legal acts foresaw new spatial databases and thus request for electronic commerce with spatial data. In the past two years, the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, Directorate for Spatial Planning, laid down detailed instructions for the contents and manner of maintaining the spatial data system, on the connectibility of data, and on the conditions of computer access to databases. For the realisation of the tasks, a two-year transitional period is provided for. In this article some aspects of the spatial databases and prototypes of spatial data systems are described, which are being established at the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, and some possibilities for electronic commerce with spatial datasets, which will become available in 2006.
