| description | This paper analyzes the dynamics of formal employment in productive activities through measures of location in the microregion of Porto Nacional, State of Tocantins, Brazil in the years of 2005, 2010 and 2015. We adopted the classical theory of location and regional development theories. The study of economic sectors has been made by the follow measures of location: Location Quotient and the Concentration Index of Hirschman-Herfindahl (HHI), based in data from the Annual Ratio of Social Information (RAIS) of the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). The results pointed out that regional dynamics of productive activities in the microregion of Porto Nacional are set in more developed areas, as in the capital city (Palmas) and in your neighbors, demonstrate a concentration and specialization (potential) in the public administration sector and in agriculture. |
