| Summary: | This article wants to discuss the nature of MoRE - a Museum of refused and unrealized art projects considering how and why it has been defined a museum, and the modalities through which it is inscribed in the current debate about museology. Doing so, I will try to analyze and consider a range of issues and themes that characterize the artistic research and the practice of contemporary criticism on visual arts, starting from the elements and activities that are considered essential to define an institution as a "museum", and are sanctioned by the ICOM - International Council of Museums [Seoul 2004] definition. |
