Summary:Tourism is a powerful operator of the globalization, which asks the question of the tourists’ relation to the otherness. But while the sociability constitutes a major ingredient of the tourist practices, its articulation with the spatial dimension, in particular through places, is rarely explored. The aim of this article is to start an analysis allowing to enlighten at least three configurations: “being with the same”, the metropolitan immersion, the model of “Robinson Crusoé”.
