| Summary: | <p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><strong><em></em></strong></p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p><em>This study aims to describe the effect of sunlight on the growth of red chili when treated in light (sunlight) and dark (without sunlight). This research is experiment research. The research subjects are red pepper. Data were collected by direct observation of each growth of red peppers in bright places and dark places. Observations are done every 3 days with the same treatment, but that distinguishes the place of light (sunlight) and dark (without sunlight). The results showed that red pepper plants will grow well with the treatment of sunlight. While red chillies without sunlight grow faster but quickly die, as in the 8th observation. This is because the plants occur photosynthesis that can help in the growth and development of plants. Therefore, the occurrence of photosynthesis in plants is strongly influenced by sunlight for the growth process of living things like chili.</em><em></em></p><p><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p>Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh cahaya matahari terhadap pertumbuhan cabai merah apabila diperlakukan di tempat terang (cahaya matahari) dan gelap (tanpa sinar matahari). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian <em>experiment</em>. Subjek penelitian yaitu cabai merah. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung setiap pertumbuhan cabai merah di tempat terang dan tempat gelap. Pengamatan dilakukan setiap 3 hari sekali dengan perlakuan yang sama, akan tetapi yang membedakan tempat terang (cahaya matahari) dan gelap (tanpa cahaya matahari). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanaman cabai merah akan tumbuh dengan baik dengan perlakuan cahaya matahari. Sedangkan cabai merah yang tanpa cahaya matahari tumbuh lebih cepat akan tetapi cepat mati, seperti pada pengamatan ke-8. Hal ini dikarenakan pada tumbuhan terjadi fotosintesis yang dapat membantu dalam petumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan. Maka dari itu, terjadinya fotosintesis pada tumbuhan sangat dipengaruhi oleh cahaya matahari untuk proses pertumbuhan makhluk hidup seperti cabai. |
