Summary:This study investigates how public libraries’ decisions on eBook extension service are made with the application of analytical hierarchy process. The first level of the hierarchy was defined according to the field observation and cases review, and the components of the second level of the hierarchy were obtained from the theoretically related studies. 10 experts from both the public library practices and research who participated in the study evaluated the hierarchy and components, the results were analyzed to develop the hierarchic structure of the eBook extension decision.
