Description
Summary:this article discusses some international models of energy management and its influence on the programs adopted in Colombia in recent years. To do this we compare three different energy efficiency approaches: top-down, bottom-up and hybrid, in order to know their differences, their advantages and their disadvantages for the prospects of better energy management in the country. Article draws on a recently concluded study on energy efficiency in small companies of Medellin, which led the authors to question energy management models for use in other countries.
