The study aims to answer the question: how dangerous is the problem of poverty for the Russian economy now, and what is the reason for its chronic development. The article briefly analyzes the causes of poverty in Russia in the context of the historical stages of its development and highlights the new stages, the analysis and the evaluation of which are conducted on the basis of official statistics. In addition, the ratio between minimum subsistence level and minimum wage and average real wages of the population is estimated, the ways to solve the problem are considered. |
