description Dual-armature alternating pole bearingless flux reversal permanent magnet (DAAPBFR) machines have the characteristics of high speed and non-contact operation; they are suitable for aerospace, flywheel battery, and other wide speed-range applications. Based on the analysis of the mechanism of torque and suspension force, the power dimension equation of the machine is given, which lays the foundation for the design of structural parameters. Finally, the influences of torque output capacity and radial suspension force of the machine are estimated, and the relationship between air gap magnetic density, copper loss, and torque is examined. The simulation shows that the DAAPBFR machine has good overload capacity.
