| Summary: | This paper deals with research that seeks to understand the socio-political construction of violence and the prevention of the latter from a Biocentric perspective. This exploratory work involves the journalistic analysis of news published by a local newspaper of the city of Rosario, Argentina. The purpose is to relieve the language employed by said media and analyze prospects underlying it. The results show the urgent need to shift the basic underlying assumptions that support stigmatizing speeches of the media and which shape and mould the human coexistence. |
