description | The growth is one of the basic issues and usable terms of knowledge such as psychology and educational sciences. In the knowledge of psychology, the growth is divided into the physical, sexual, rational, economic, moral, emotional, ideological, and... dimensions. In Quranic teachings, the growth is used in the mentioned meanings. The purpose of this study is to psychologically analyze emotional growth from the view of Quran with an emphasis on verse 7 of Surah Hojorat and its relationship with the emotional growth in the knowledge of psychology. The emotional-Quranic growth is a change and development of human emotions in the light of Quranic education that represents in liking good things and a will to do them and hating bad things. Reaching the status of emotional growth is the aim of the revelation of Quran (Jen, 2), and the Quranic education is the process of reaching it. The emotional growth can also be called the Quranic, transcendental, spiritual, and moral growth. The study applies a library research method for collecting the data about two concepts of growth and emotion from Quran and psychology texts. The research methodology is a conceptual analysis with three types of methodological analysis, the analysis of contrasting concepts, and the analysis of semantic network. |
