The colouration variability of Iris pumila L. perianth in natural populations of Mykolaiv region

The colouration variability of Iris pumila L. perianth was studied on the basis of the flower’s natural populations in Mykolaiv region. Its discovered spectrum covers the range of colors from snow white to dark violet and blue, being represented by plants with self, bitone, bicolor, and polychromati...

description The colouration variability of Iris pumila L. perianth was studied on the basis of the flower’s natural populations in Mykolaiv region. Its discovered spectrum covers the range of colors from snow white to dark violet and blue, being represented by plants with self, bitone, bicolor, and polychromatic colouration. The grouping system of Iris pumila L. perianth colouration is considered on the basis of pigment interaction regularity.
