Summary:This paper presents a model of psychotherapeutic intervention against psychological trauma and pain that this causes in the boundary area between the psychic and somatic, taking the reference from a testimony taken in the film Shoah Claude Lanzmann. Different time frames are analyzed in the manifestation of trauma, the possibility of converting the trauma in an historical event is questioned and the psycotherapist functions in each of the phases of the process are determined.
