Geological Model of the Lower Sarmatian Reservoir Sands in the Underground Gas Storage Tvrdonice (SE Czechia)

description Based on 3D seismic interpretation and the well logs reinterpretation was created the new geological model of the Early Sarmatian reservoirs of the UGS Tvrdonice situated in the southern part of Hrusky field - Czech part of Vienna Basin. The interpretation of the seismic data and creating of geological model was performed using SW Petrel.Interpretation of 3D seismic data brought these results:Knowledge of detailed fault framework (position of main (lanzhot-hrusky) fault, existence of the splitting off faults and opened fault blocks), localization and extent of sedimentary bodies, their connectivity or isolation, what led to the new approach in the interpretation of the well tops.Facial analysis of the well logs was done using model curves and basic facies (channel, levee, crevasse, and floodplain) was recognized.Distribution of petrophysical properties was estimated from the well logs (porosity permeability) in the heterogenous sedimentary bodies.Upper mentioned results and new geological model are directly applicable for the projects of the localization of the new production wells for increasing daily production rate and storing capacity.
