Summary:This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is the novel Amelia by Tere Liye, namely excerpts from the novel containing the values of moral education. The results showed that there were seven values of moral education in the novel Amelia by Tere Liye, including honesty, compassion, not giving up, being patient, helping, caring and loving peace. Through the description of the values of moral education found in the novel Amelia by Tere Liye, this can be used as a reference for character learning through Indonesian language subjects. Because the analysis of the values of moral education is carried out through intrinsic and extrinsic elements. Mainly the values of moral education in the novel which can be found through the analysis of the extrinsic elements of literary works which are Indonesian language learning materials. So that the extrinsic analysis found through the values of moral education in the novel can be used as a learning tool in Indonesian subjects.
