One of the problems facing students in b
achelor's degree is the use of methods and techniques of
inappropriate study, which repeat constantly during the performance of their academic duties,
constitute a bad habit in their way of dealing with learning situations. Promote the development
of the ability to study habits self
-assessment allows students to reflect on issues that must be
correct to develop an appropriate study method, involves a commitment and responsibility that
the student has to purchase to develop their autonomy in the learning process. The identification
of study habits that favor the process of knowledge acquisition is a skill needed for academic
success. This paper shows resu
lts of the practice of this skill, during three years with students
from the bachelor's degree in B

university. The aspects of study habits that
have worked on an ongoing basis are: distribution of time, reading, physiological condition and
concentration. The development of self
-evaluation ability allows the involvement of students in
