Description
Summary:Hemodynamically significant patent arterial duct in premature infants can be the reason of life-threatening complications. Thus it is topical to define the high risk of such complications and mortality in early neonatal period. We have reviewed researches results covering prognostic value of natriuretic peptides level in premature infants with hemodynamically significant patent arterial duct. The data on management planning of such patients according to the A-type and B-type natriuretic peptides levels is presented.
