Assessment is based on accepted criteria for evaluating the capacity of the region for recreational tourism. According to these criteria, the spatial analysis procedures were carried out. The general scheme of the GIS-based evaluation process is developed and tested. As the result of spatial assessment 5 major zones were identified. The result of the spatial analysis is the map that defines the spatial extent of suitable areas for short-term recreational tourism. |
