Description
Summary:For the demand of crashworthiness verification and certification of composite aircraft structures,a finite element model of fuselage section with waved-plates under cargo floor was suggested, and rigid simplified model of cargo was also developed. The crashworthiness performance was researched under 7 m / s vertical impact velocity. A comparative analysis of failure modes, acceleration response and energy-absorbing characteristics were given for composite fuselage section with and without cargo loading and the analysis were helpful to design and analysis of civil aircrafts. The results show that the energy absorbed by waved-plates is increased because of cargo loading, the acceleration of junction between outside seats and floor for fuselage section with cargo loading are lower than that of fuselage section without cargo loading, and there is no cascading crash scenario.
