| Summary: | The title compound, C15H13Br2NS2 [systematic name: 12,15-dibromo-2,7-dithia-1(1,4)-benzena-5(2,6)-pyridinaoctaphane], contains a dibromo-substituted benzene ring and a pyridine ring that are linked by a pair of bridging —CH2SCH2— groups. There is a weak π–π interaction between the rings, the distance between the ring centroids being 3.572 (4) Å. The rings are not parallel, but form a dihedral angle of 18.29 (4)°. |
