It also reflects on the teaching skills for teaching in higher education, the corrosive effects of the educational bureaucracy, and the de-profissionalization of teachers. Finally, it presents the contemporary challenges to teaching in higher education 1. Education as a commodity, 2. The information society; and 3. The trivialization of teaching in higher education. The challenges of teaching in higher education often cause stress, and a sense of loss and failure. The trivialization of teaching is veiled and silent. |
