| Summary: | The text introduces some of the principal aspects of the vocational education in the State of Paraná in the decade of 1960, such as: schools, courses presented in the period and the demand for each of them. In the period the paranaense professional education was beginning to grow, many of the characteristics presented in the State were in consonance with the national politics of education. However, some of the courses were not in consonance with the needs of the job market, they were structured in function of the conditions existent in the schools. In the period the most sought courses were those related to the Trade. The data presented in the text, is in its majority fruits of primary sources. |
