Description
Summary:The social representations always „incorporate” different kinds of ideas into individuals’ everyday practice. While becoming consistent from an ideatic point of view, the latter modify the central and peripheral elements of the representations by way of „reactions of response”. Finally a complex relationship of mutual influence settles between the psychosocial entities. This relationship is marked, at a fundamental level, by the nature of the respective situations: the representations determine the practice in situations in which individuals present a high autonomy or an emphasized affective load, whereas practice-at there turn-metamorphoses the representations in situations that present strong restraints and social obligations.
