| Summary: | Spaces in between can be considered as spaces that do not give themselves easily to see, edge space and space at the edge. They involve social and spatial norms in use in a given location. In Niamey, fada, young men groups that meet every night, can be analyse like spaces in between. They question the presence of young people in public spaces, playing with the visible and invisible. If fada appropriate portions of these public spaces, they do other temporalities (overnight). Just as they are places where speech is free, it is limited to a particular place and time. Thereby, fada question the spatial and social norms of seniors without conflict with these.
