description The study focused on the involvement of children and adults in family leisure activities during pandemic-related lockdowns in relation to the WHO’s recommendations regarding physical activity. The study is based on data collected from adolescents (n = 89) and their parents (n = 73) selected from among inhabitants of Poznan and its neighbouring areas. Physical activity levels were determined using a Physical Activity Screening Measure. The results suggest a negative impact of the pandemic on leisure physical activity undertaken by members of the surveyed families. In order to effectively monitor the effects of the pandemic on family physical activity, it is necessary to develop experimental projects in the form of interventional programs.
