Molecular doping of nucleic acids into light emitting crystals driven by multisite-intermolecular interaction

DNAs exhibit a unique molecular doping structure, unseen in conventional hybrid assemblies, when doped into light-emitting organic materials. Here authors unveil doping mechanism of DNAs into organic semiconducting crystals and tailor their photoluminescence and optical waveguide phenomena.
