description It surely is not an overstatement to say that the first successful cloning of a sheep in 1997 in Scotland can be described as a Copernican revolution - not only in medical ethics but also in man's world view. Focusing on this specific issue, it is attempted to find a provisional answer from a theological-ethical point of view.
