Summary:Objectives:To investigate and compare scores of quality of life(QoL),sleep disturbances,and psychological status between the partners of female patients with fibromyalgia syndrome(FMS) and those of healthy controls. Materials and Methods:The study included partners of 100 female FMS patients under the 1990 criteria of the American Rheumatism Association(ACR) and partners of 100 female healthy controls.The partners of FMS patients and controls were investigated through Beck Depression Inventory(BDI),Beck Anxiety Inventory(BAI),Visual Analog Scale(VAS), Sensitive Point Number(SPN), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI), and Short Form-36 (SF-36).
