Description
Summary:Defining success in museums and considering what has been listed so far, we can conclude that the results of a museum's activity are at least as diverse as its multidimensional activity, and the decision, perhaps the most difficult to make, is the choice of the results that can define the success of a museum. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the performance of a museum by applying the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method, taking into account four perspectives: financial, educational, stakeholder satisfaction and organizational development. The results show that the museum met a large part of its performance objectives, and the BSC tool proved its usefulness as a performance measurement tool, turning after implementation into an extremely useful tool for the organization's management.
