description Extensive changes in the nature of the battlefield such as knowledge-based wars, new types of military threats, as well as the development of new military technologies, etc., have made it necessary to create a transformation in human capital management[1] to improve the response of military organizations to this complex environment. Therefore, the current research was carried out to identify dimensions, components and indicators of the HRM transformation model in the army of the Islamic Republic of Iran based on a mixed approach. 15 people from the army's HR experts were selected for interviews to theoretical saturation by purposeful sampling. In addition, the statistical population for the questionnaire included some managers and experts in the HR field of the army with at least a master's degree and strategic organizational positions. Due to the limited number of the statistical population (110 people), the census method was used to distribute the questionnaires. In the first phase, document study and semi-structured interviews were used to provide the model. Furthermore, in the second stage, a 69-item questionnaire was used to validate the model. Validity of the questionnaire confirmed by convergence and diagnostic methods and its reliability tested by composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha method. Qualitative data analysis was done using thematic method and quantitative data was analyzed using structural equation modeling in Smart-Pls 3 software. The results showed that the model of transformation in HCM of the army’s Islamic Republic of Iran consists of three dimensions; "drivers of transformation in HCM ", "functional-strategic measures of transformation in HRM" and "Outputs of transformation in HCM". In addition, these dimensions consisting of 17 components and 69 indicators. Moreover, the results of the quantitative analyze indicated that the causal relationships between the variables of the model have confirmed.
